El Roque is a small quiet village located in the north west of Feurteventura and is perfect for those seeking tranquility. El Roque is is located between the villages Lajares and El Cotilo, the white sand beaches, pebble lagoons and the cliffs of El Cotillo are a short drive from here or accessible by bike. The Corralejo to El Cotillo bus stops here so if you're staying here without transport you can get supplies from the supermarkets in El Cotillo by bus.

Interesting walk

Stopped off at El Roque and had an enjoyable and interesting walk, if you follow the dirt road towards the windmill it's easy to park with very few people about. We saw donkeys, horses, chickens, dragonflies, various birds and spotted a Camel in someones garden. We saw some people mountain biking which looks lie good fun and may give that a go next time.
