Fuerteventura Viewpoints and places of interest

Fuerteventura has some amazing viewpoints and places of interest accessible by car, cycling, walking or hiking including views of mountains, volcanoes, craters, lava fields, reservoirs, high cliffs, beautiful beaches, secluded coves, and incredible panoramic views, with a variety of wildlife, and fauna.
Fuerteventura Viewpoints and places of interest
The Guise and Ayose’s viewpoint is located between Valley of Santa Ines and Betancuria. From here you can see a beautiful view of the islands valleys, plains and mountains.
There are two large and impressive bronze statues here representing the Kings Guise and Ayose of ancient Fuerteventura before the conquest of 1402.
La Entallada Lighthouse, built in 1954 is the closest point of Fuerteventura and the Canay Islands to the African continent is located on top of a cliff two hundred metres above sea level. Stunning views, and well worth a visit!
Los Cuchillos de Vigán Natural Monument is located to the east of Las Playitas close to the coast. It consists of elongated mountainous structures perpendicular to the coast, where erosion has caused a series of formations called "knives" that are separated by valleys.
Sicasumbre astronomical viewpoint, the first on the island of Fuerteventura is located on Sicasumbre mountain in Pájara and is an ideal place to observe the night sky.
